We are recruiting a Medical Specialist/Technician to join our team. This is a challenging position that makes a real difference in people's lives. Environmental Litigation Group P.C. is where you can make an extraordinary impact. During the COVID-19 crisis we allow remote work as well.

Responsibilities

• Act as the interface between the doctor and the legal process.
• Handle a large variety of files, from claims to complaints, inquests, and regulatory issues.
• Instruct the team as necessary and oversee the general running of the case.
• Manage relationships with clients by answering questions in a mindful and timely manner.
• Take part in the organization of evidence evaluation.
• Collect, record, and organize medical data and records. You will work mainly with electronic health record systems.

Requirements

• Graduate degree with an accent on health science or degree complementary to basic medical science research or clinical medicine.
• Grasp of basic medical science.
• Understanding and following laws and procedures to guarantee accuracy and privacy of personal health information.
• Capacity to prioritize assignments, meet deadlines and handle projects simultaneously.
• Great oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound multi-program computer skills.
• Project management experience is a plus.
