April 2026 - DTE Update
We hope this message finds you well. As we continue to pursue your case against DTE and the EES Coke Battery, please keep all information and communication confidential.
DTE was receptive to our proposal to enter pre-litigation resolution discussions, and we are in the process of setting that up now. There is no guarantee these negotiations will lead to settlement, but we remain encouraged at the possibility.
The next step is to collect additional details to support your case. This includes medical records, property records, and a questionnaire. Someone from, or on behalf of, our office will contact you in the not-too-distant future about the documents and the questionnaire.

We have sent demand letters to the defendants in attempts to begin the resolution process of your claims.

October 2025 - DTE Update
We want to share the latest developments in the DTE case.
We are still accepting clients who are affected by the operations and the toxic air emissions emanating from the DTE facilities in located in Wayne County, the River Rouge Power Plant and the EES Coke Battery and located in Monroe County, the Monroe Power Plant.
We continue to develop scientific evidence of the harmful toxic emissions emanating from the DTE facilities through modeling air pollution emissions and determining risks for all of our client.
We are concurrently preparing to engage DTE in a mediation/settlement process for a possible out of court resolution of our clients' claims.
However, should mediation/settlement prove not to be effective, we will pursue litigation by filing a complaint against DTE to recover injuries and/or property damage incurred by you. The evidence gathered will be extremely important as we prepare to enter into a mediation/settlement process and/or litigation.
