Your involvement in the legal process will be minimal, as you will only have to provide your lawyer with your military and medical records, documents which will be used as evidence to support your claim. This way, you will be able to continue focusing on your health and treatment. Finally, it is important to know that, in the majority of states, the statute of limitations for asbestos exposure cases is 3 years, which means that you need to take legal action as soon as you receive your diagnosis, otherwise you may lose your right to the compensation you deserve.
