I got exposed to asbestos by working for cement companies as a store keeper. From 1974 to 1980, I was employed by the USXF plant in Fairfield and from 1980 to 1994, I worked as a laborer for Lehigh in Leeds. During all these years, I handled a lot of asbestos products without knowing that they were harmful and could cause so many diseases.
Then, I found out that my colleagues got tested and I decided to do the same. In 1995, I went for a check-up and discovered that I had asbestos fibers in my lungs.
I decided to contact Environmental Litigation Group, P.C. and they explained to me the whole process, right from the first steps. In my opinion, Environmental Litigation Group, P.C. really helped me get compensated for the injuries resulted from the asbestos exposure. Thanks to them, I got a really good compensation. I have 5 kids and some of them go to high school or college, so the money I got really helped me and my family.
